No, ABLED is a Job Training Activity Center. We provide opportunities for clients to practice the technical and emotional skills required for success in competitive integrated employment.
We expect that clients are able to function with an independence level required for our program (6:1 client to staff ratio). Unfortunately, we are not able to provide any 1:1 support, but we encourage and support clients in finding and utilizing reasonable accommodations that will allow them to be successful in our program and in their community.

ABLED's Job Training Program reinforces the cultivation of independent living skills and employment attainment skills for adults with disabilities.
Participants will also improve their basic knowledge of various skills such as:
ABLED's Social Recreation Program is in tandem with our Job Training program, to support our clients as they participate in community-based instruction to build upon transitional and independent living skills. Throughout the year, community-based field trips are scheduled. On these excursions, participants are utilizing basic transitional skills, how to use public transportation, money management, and social interactions.
